Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

So in my recent holiday to New York I couldn't wait to run off to Sephora and pick up a few bits and bobs, main item being the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette. I've wanted to purchase this for so long now but managed to held out until my holiday! To fill the void in before my holiday I was using the Makeup Revolution Radiant Palette which I would say is a good dupe for the Hourglass powders just a little more shimmery and intense whilst the Hourglass palette is much more natural and subtle. I am really happy with ambient lighting powers, I even went back and brought 'Mood Light' as a separate shade. To sum up these powders they are to enhance where flattering lighting would usually bounce off and highlight your skin making your overall complexion look more softer and almost blurred out.

If anyone would like me to post the Hourlglass alongside the Makeup Revolution with swatches to see more of a comparison let me know :)

Limnit Lipsticks Mini Jars Review

(Lipstick shade worn: Goodness Graycious)
As a matte lipstick fanatic I am always excited to try new brands and I recently came across Limnit on Etsy and I just had to share with everybody! I brought a few of the mini-jars to try and for a mini they are very generous in size. I applied these with a lipbrush and the colours were so pigmented you didn't need much at all! Delivery came pretty quick too even though they were coming from the US and I live in the UK. Packaging was cute and the little lip printed card had a hand written thank you note which I thought was a lovely little touch. These lip pots are only £3.07 each so my inner bargain huntress was jumping with joy! Here are the colours I brought:
Racin' Carnation
Abracadabra
Goodness Graycious
Deepest Taupes and Dreams
Punk'in

What do you guys think? Any other brands you would recommend for matte lipsticks?
