Skinkissed Vitamin C Face Serum Review

As a big skincare fan, I was super excited when Skinkissed got in touch with me and asked whether I would be interested in trying out their Vitamin C Face Serum. I have tried numerous serums in the past but was yet to find one that really made a difference. I have dry sensitive skin so for me, I wanted a serum that would help prep my skin before makeup and the Skinkissed serum has done exactly that!

Some of the serum's powerful ingredients include vitamin C, rosewater, collagen, and hyaluronic acid. Skinkissed has stated the serum is both natural and cruelty-free, boasting that these ingredients help hydrate dry and dull skin, whilst improving both acne scars and fine lines. Their website also confirms that the serum is a great primer for makeup, which was exactly what I was looking for!

Firstly, I tested the serum behind my ear and on the inside of my elbow 24 hours before I began to use it. This is something I chose to do due to having sensitive skin, and after having no bad reaction I began to use the product on my face. I have been using the serum now for just over a week, using 1-2 times a day. I use as a primer in the morning, after my usual skincare routine, I add the serum on to my face after applying moisturiser. I then use on an evening after I have removed my makeup and cleansed. I originally put a few drops into the palm of my hand and pressed onto my face, but found I prefered to drip the serum straight on to my face instead.

Just over a week in, I am impressed with this serum already! I have recently been getting more spots than usual, the angry flared-up kind, and I have noticed a big difference in how clear my skin has become since using the serum. As well as this, my skin feels less dry and flakey than usual which is great when applying makeup. I am excited to continue use to see further results, you don't need to use too much as it goes a long way so I imagine this bottle will last a long time!
